Throughout my first-year volunteering for Camp HOPE and the holiday party, I noticed the relationships the children made with one another. I witnessed the bonds they built during the weekend of Camp HOPE and then months later at the holiday party. It touched me and made me realize how important Camp HOPE is for children that have lost an immediate family member. When they meet other children, they understand what they are feeling. Because the feelings of loss aren’t noticeable by others, it’s nice to have someone their age that can relate to them.

Thank you for all you do!
